Over twenty years ago, two young families purchased the mountain tops and pastures from a local farmer. Hundreds of trees were planted and the forest has reclaimed much of this beautiful property.

Finca Monte Fresco is a beautiful 20 plus acre forest property located just 2.5 miles from Tamarindo.

Monte Fresco Mountain Suites offers a unique experience, totally different from busy downtown Tamarindo Hotels and cabinas.


Uniquely different from the prestigous and premium priced B&B’s on the beach.

Less than a 5 minute drive along the newly paved road to Tamarindo’s beaches, activities, shops, restaurants, and night life.

But what a difference 5 minutes makes! Our property abounds with nature’s finest trees, flowers, birds, and wildlife.

Bird watching from your balcony or the nature trails; Imagine a beautiful panoramic sunset from your balcony.

Imagine sipping your favorite cocktails while floating in the pool.... and watching the same sunset!

Finca Monte Fresco has in the past been operated as a lodge, and later a Bed & Breakfast.

The new owners purchased it last year, with the vision to create a unique accommodation experience just minutes outside Tamarindo.

There are 4 separate suites, 1 bedroom apartment, and 4 bedroom main lodge, and they are fully equipped with everything you need to relax and unwind during your vacation.

 

RATES

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation. They accept cash($ and colones), wire transfers, traveller’s checks, visa, mastercard, and american express.
Reservations will be confirmed by fax or e-mail.
Cancellations - 50% of your deposit will be refunded if the reservation is cancelled 30 days or more prior to arrival.
Partial refunds for partial stays will be granted , at management's discretion.

*special rates apply for X-mas week and Easter week
Rates are per room based on double occupancy, for units 1-5. Extra persons are $20/night per person(only available in suites 1&2).
