We are conveniently located 15 minutes from the international airport and 5 minutes from downtown San José in a quiet, residential neighborhood. With the 11 acre Sabana Park just a few blocks away, along with a variety of shops, restaurants and business, this make us and ideal base camp during your stay in Costa Rica, for business or pleasure.
El Sesteo is a fully enclosed, two story building with secure covered parking. Both laundry service and washing-machines are available for the guests. Our gardens and rancho in the central pool area are very famous for its tropical atmosphere. We have a membership with the Costa Rican Tennis Club which allows our guests to use their facilities like tennis, bowling, three swimming pools, gymnasium and sauna, for a small charge.
We cater to both the tourism and business market. The hotel has a total of 36 rooms twenty have fully equipped kitchens, dining and living areas and separate bedroom and bathroom. Sixteen are hotel style bedrooms with bathroom. Each room opens directly onto the gardens and gives you the privacy and space with the added services of a small hotel. All rooms have cable TV, telephone with direct outside line, and ceiling fans. We serve a free continental breakfast. Our new service includes free internet service and a small meeting-room (about 12 people).
For any transfers to and from the airport please let us know 48 hours beforehand, and guaranteed. We have an agreement with Gray Line (Fantasy Tours) for all our transfers to and from the airport by shuttle for only $4.00 per person. (till 21:00 pm).
