Plaza de la Cultura

Plaza de la Cultura is one of San José's focal points. It sits right next to the National Theater. Everybody seems to choose this Plaza as a meeting place -Josefinos and tourists alike. Doves have become the main attraction for children and popcorn vendors. Musicians, marimba bands, singers and clowns entertain the passing crowds. On the north east corner of the Plaza, you will find a grassy stair-way leading down to Museos del Banco Central.
