Parque Nacional

The National Park is the largest of San José's parks, and it's located right in front of the National Library, between Avenues 1 and 3, Streets 15 and 19. As you face the National Monument in the center of the park, which depicts Central American nations joined together against William Walker, you will see the new building of Tribunal Supremo de Elecciones (Supreme Board of Elections). If you can pass over the crowds inside the building, you may find interesting art exhibits in the hallways. On the southeast corner of the National Park is the National Assembly building.
