CACTS Hotel and Support Center

We would like to take this opportunity to let you know about all the improvements we have made in The Hotel Cacts.

We are proud to let you know we have completed the construction of our new wing. We now have a total of twenty five non-smoking rooms and a secured parking lot. There are 3 types of rooms, Deluxe, Standard and Shared bathroom. Both Deluxe and Standard have private bathrooms and windows facing outdoor gardens.

Our new section contains twelve Deluxe rooms, very spacious, with two double beds in each, private hot shower, ceiling fan, ceramic tiles throughout, telephone, satellite remote control television, and a view of our tropical garden court.

In the main building there are nine Standard rooms with private bathrooms and four rooms with shared bath. There is a choice of both double and single beds for the Standard rooms. Also included are ceiling fans, nice wooden floors, and all bathrooms have hot showers and ceramic tile. There is no TV and no phone. A common telephone service is available for this section.

Should our guests want to meet and share travel experiences with each other, we have provided a family TV room with satellite programming.

A communal breakfast area opens onto a beautiful terrace located on a third floor, from which the traveler has a splendid panoramic view of the magnificent mountains that surround the San José Valley. Lounge in our deck chairs while you plan your excursions.

We are located fifteen walking minutes from the downtown area and ten minutes from the central market. Several fine neighborhood restaurants affordable to every pocketbook and palate, offer local and international cuisine.

April 2000 will see the completion of our new lobby, check-in area, guest relations and travel service, a souvenir and handicraft gallery, as well as a swimming pool with a tropical forest setting.
