Besides agriculture, the cattle and flower industry are prolific here; but tourism by far provides the most revenue. The always-friendly people from La Fortuna complement the clean and easy-going town. The community has managed to find a balance between their rapid development and the ecology that is essential to their lives. La Fortuna provides a multitude of options for nature and adventure lovers and for almost every flavor of traveler.
