Domestic Flights

Costa Rica is a small country, but still it can take you more than a couple of hours to get to your destination if you are traveling by car or bus.

A great alternative is to fly. From San Jose, the longest direct flight to any part inside the country is about 1 hour. So consider this instead of sitting for 8 hours before reaching Golfito, Samara or Nosara.
